Salomé Mercier (she/her) is a French writer and translator living in London. She studied art in France then Hungary before moving to the UK to work. She mostly likes to write creative non-fiction, weaving together hybrid formats (curatorial texts shaped like emails, essays that are actually diary entries, academic thesis in the form of letters, anything but third-person biographies). She is interested in mistranslations, miscommunications, small distances between hands, desire, all-consuming nostalgia, modern loneliness, and other casual and nonchalant themes.
